USATF Productions presents “Tragedy to Triumph: The Richard Browne Story”

INDIANAPOLIS -- Executive producer Max Siegel and USATF Productions is launching a new short film called “Tragedy to Triumph: The Richard Browne Story”, set for release on Wednesday, October 21 at 3 p.m. ET on USATF.TV.


Browne is a former football player turned Paralympic athlete following a devastating accident in which he lost one of his legs after he fell through a glass door at a laundromat. With three world records to his name, Browne is one of the best sprinters in the world.


Browne is set and ready for prime performances after coming home from the 2012 Paralympic Games and 2013 IPC World Championships with silver medals in the T44 100 meters. Hungry for more, Browne will chase after additional world records and his first individual gold with Team USA at the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships in Doha, Qatar beginning Thursday, October 29 with the first round of the men’s T44 100 meters.


“Tragedy to Triumph: The Richard Browne Story” is just one of many stories from USATF Productions, including miniseries “The Pursuit”, “Path to Poland” and “Flight”, and short films “The Alan Webb Story”, “Born to Run: The Michael Brannigan Story” and “USATF36: Sanya Richards-Ross”.
