INDIANAPOLIS – USATF athletes preparing to compete in the IAAF World Championships will get quality sleep, thanks to USA Track & Field’s partnership with premium bedding topper company, airweave.
 
airweave will provide USATF with toppers at Team USA training camp August 10-27 in Narita, Japan. Athletes in Narita will be preparing for competition at the IAAF World Championships, to be held August 22-30 in Beijing.
 
Nearly 100 USATF athletes are expected to participate at USATF training camp in all event groups, including sprints, hurdles, distances, throws and jumps. USATF coaches, medical staff, trainers and managers also will be on hand to help the team prepare.

USATF athletes have traditionally led the medal table at the IAAF World Championships.  In 2013, Team USA tied its best medal tally at the World Outdoor Championships taking home 25 medals.  USATF athletes dominated the scoring table finishing a full 100 points ahead of host Russia, posting the highest point total and greatest margin of victory. If the current year’s performances are any indicator of what can be expected at the 2015 edition of the World Championships, Team USA will continue to perform as the World’s #1 Team.
