2011 World Youth Track & Field Trials

Set sail to France off the shores of Myrtle Beach -- USA Track & Field athletes ages 16 and 17 through December 31, 2011 (born in 1994 or 1995) will be considered for the IAAF World Youth Team based on performance at the World Youth Track & Field Trials to be held June 28 - 29 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. At the 2009 IAAF World Youth Championships, the U.S. finished atop the medal count and placing table with 16 total medals, six of which were Gold. Team USA looks to continue its performance as the World’s #1 Team while in Lille, France at the 7th IAAF World Youth Championships, taking place July 6-10, 2011.
