How much does it cost to join?
Membership fees are $20.00 for youth (ages 18 & under) and $30.00 for adults. Additionally, adults joining for multiple years receive a discount as follows:

What are the benefits of joining USATF?

How do I transfer my membership to another Association?
Adult USATF Members, ages 19 years and older, can request to transfer from their assigned Association of Residence to another Association. Transferring to a new Association provides a member with the benefits of that new association only. The member forfeits the benefits of their Association of Residence which includes, but is not limited to, scoring in the Association’s championships, representing a club in that Association, and voting in that Association’s meetings. Additionally, USATF Rule 4.2 indicates that in certain USA/USATF national championships, a member may not be eligible to score points for a club if they do not reside within the same Metropolitan Standard Area as the club’s location.
When does my membership expire?
Memberships are on a calendar year basis, and expire on December 31. However, if you join between November 1 and December 31 of the current year, the membership will be valid for the following year as well.

USATF values the privacy of each of our members but at the same time wants to provide you with the convenience of accessing your membership profile. The password, in combination with your membership number, provides you with secure accessibility to your membership profile.
When will I receive my membership card and packet?
If you join online, your membership packet (which includes your membership card) will typically arrive in approximately three weeks. If you join by submitting a paper membership application, your packet will arrive in approximately four to six weeks.
All membership registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
